Bean-Town

This summer my family and I took a trip to Boston, and I fell in love. Beautiful city; with interesting sights, people, food, and entertainment. We stayed in downtown Boston for a few days, and then went up the Cape for another couple of days, but it was the city that really inspired me. Here are a few shots I got. I have so many more photos to choose from, but this is a quick preview:

Weinstein Gallery

I saw in the Star Tribune a short story about a new exhibit at the Weinstein Gallery, located in-between Lyndale avenue and Lake Harriet . The new Exhibit had works by many local artists such as Alec Soth, and several legendary photographers including my all time favorite: Annie Leibovitz. Of course I couldn't miss a chance to see one of her photographs up close, so I grabbed my camera and ventured to the gallery. Unfortunately Leibovitz's photograph is a little to innopropriate for this blog... aka it was a photgraph of a nude overweight lesbian. But here are a few shots I captured, let me know what you think!

shots of my friend Lisa P., we both got new lens for Christmas and wanted to try them out at the
Sculpture Garden in downtown Minneapolis. Beautiful day with great lighting.
